June 9, 2017

We just concluded the 2017 Fluxnet workshop.  About 114 scientists from across the globe converged in Berkeley, June 7-9, to discuss long term carbon and water flux measurements, data processing, flux interpretation, the new FLUXNET 2015 dataset and directions for the future.

The meeting was divided into overviews of the regional networks, plenary talks on emerging topics.  Overview talks were on such topics as measurement and modulations of long term flux measurements and extraction of plant/ecosystem functional traits, WMO Standards and FluxNet, results from AmeriFlux Comparisons and Update on flux partitioning theory and applications.

The agenda left plenty of time for posters and discussions, lunches and coffee
